As the President of Holistic Pet Care, P. A., for nearly a decade, Dr. Gerald Buchoff frequently participates in and contributes to numerous professional veterinary organizations. These include the American Holistic Veterinary Medical Association and the NJ Veterinary Medical Association, both of which he served as President, as well as the American Veterinary Medical Association, the NJ Veterinary Medical Association, and the Academy of Veterinary Homeopathy. At Holistic Pet Care, based in Little Falls, New Jersey, Dr. Gerald Buchoff provides diagnostic and treatment solutions for pets using holistic, natural methods. Additionally, via his company, Dr. B’s Holistic Pet Products, LLC, which he founded in 2007, Dr. Gerald Buchoff has drawn on his animal care experiences to design and sell holistic pet food products.
Dr. Gerald Buchoff earned a professional certification and advanced degree in 1980 from the G. B. Pant University of Technology and Agriculture in India. Prior to completing this degree, he studied Zoology with an emphasis on Immunology at the Graduate School - New Brunswick, Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey. Earlier, Dr. Gerald Buchoff completed with high honors a Bachelor of Science in Animal Science and Pre-veterinary Medicine at Rutgers’ Cook College.
Dr. Gerald Buchoff contributes his time and energy to a number of institutions, aside from those which he leads. For more than 10 years, he has served as a volunteer veterinarian to the Palisades Kennel Club, Inc., and has acted as the Chairman of Congregation Agudath Israel of West Essex’s Environmental Committee.
